Painting Project - Leighton Buzzard

Swoosh Decor have recently completed this mid-sized painting project for a Precision Engineering form near Leighton Buzzard. The painting work was carried out on behalf of one of our commercial fit out clients.

Working alongside several other trades including a drywall installer, tape and jointer and electricians. Swoosh Decor (Commercial) Ltd provided final preparation of the wall surfaces after tape and jointers had rubbed down. This included minor repairs to any damages, a mist coat to seal the walls, followed by two top coats of Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt Emulsion.

The total painting area for this painting project was approximately 500 square metres. The image above shows the mezzanine floor area, after painting but before final completion. If you are wondering about the unpainted areas at the top of the walls, this is because a suspended ceiling was later installed and so the high level walls did not need to be painted.

To complete this commercial painting project we had to use a scissor lift to safely paint walls up to 8 metres in height. This was in the warehouse area of the company. This required maneuvering around narrow corridors between warehouse racking and newly installed drywall. Not for the faint hearted.
