School Painting

Working on behalf of lead contractor Simply Workspace, Swoosh Decor completed this school painting project in a large secondary school in Northampton

Northampton School for Boys (NSB) had several large classrooms being used as IT suites but they were in serious need of modernisation.

The main contractor Simply Workspace had stripped out the old fixtures and fittings. Resulting in a bare shell (blank canvas) for Swoosh Décor to go to work on.

First up was to remove over 300 rawl plugs from the walls and fill the resulting holes. Followed by rubbing down the walls and woodwork where required.

Next up on the preparation side was caulking and filling other gaps and holes before the painting could begin.

Finally, priming and undercoating woodwork, adding a mist coat to some newly plastered walls and then finishing with top coats of Dulux Trade Emulsion and Masonry paint where applicable..

Woodwork was complete in Dulux Trade solvent based gloss in two different colours.

All furniture, benching and carpeting were supplied and installed by Simply Workspace.
